The Norfolk Open is a long running, friendly, six weapon competition run annually by Norfolk Fencing Club and held at UEA Sportspark.
The competition was originally established through a joint initiative with the UEA Fencing Club and began as a foil competition in 1973. The Open has developed each and every year, eventually becoming a six weapon competition (épée, foil, and sabre for both men and women) in 2000. Since then the format has largely been unchanged and it’s the clubs biggest event of the year.
